Luna Blaze, Artist Website for Merch Drops and Tours

Luna Blaze, Artist Website for Merch Drops and Tours
Project Overview
Luna Blaze is a premium, high-energy digital hub built for an electronic/hip-hop music artist and their associated streetwear merchandise line. Moving away from traditional, flat artist websites, this platform functions as a unified digital ecosystem. It fuses limited-edition e-commerce product drops, live tour schedules, interactive media galleries, and social aggregated feeds into a singular, immersive brand experience.
- Role: Lead UI/UX & Web Interaction Designer
- Deliverables: End-to-end responsive desktop and mobile web platform, digital merch storefront, tour tracking architecture
- Visual Strategy: Gritty streetwear aesthetic, high-contrast color blocking, elite brand scarcity formatting
Design System & Visual Strategy
Color Palette
- Electric Cobalt Blue: The defining anchor color of the brand. It is used as a full-bleed block color for tour sections and social media arrays to create maximum visual vibration and a high-octane concert atmosphere.
- Deep Charcoal & Pitch Black: Used across the hero, gallery, and shop segments to give the product imagery a clean, premium backdrop and a classic streetwear edge.
- Vibrant Crimson Red & Neon Accents: Reserved strictly for status badges like “LIMITED,” “NEW DROP,” and “SOLD OUT” to mimic retail scarcity triggers.
Typography
- Headings: An elegant, high-contrast, editorial serif typeface that elevates the artist’s identity into a luxury fashion status.
- Body & UI Text: A clean, minimal geometric sans-serif that ensures effortless readability across tabular data like tour dates and pricing tables.
High-Impact Section Breakdowns
The Cinematic Hero Section
Immersive Media Integration: Features a high-contrast hero banner of the artist backlit by concert stage lasers, instantly establishing an electronic/alternative tone.
Multi-Platform Connectivity: A dedicated social/streaming toolbar seamlessly routes traffic directly to top DSPs and platforms including Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, TikTok, Instagram, and Hypebeast.
“Street Heat” Limited-Merch Drops (E-Commerce)
Scarcity Modeling: Built on a strict lookbook grid system displaying limited streetwear apparel (e.g., Midnight Tour Cap, Chain Reaction Tee, Signature Hoodie 01, and Blaze Vinyl).
Dynamic Status Chips: Each product tile features micro-copy labels to incentivize rapid purchasing, cleanly indicating items that are Limited, a New Drop, or Sold Out.
Tour Date Agenda & Interactive Registry
Tabular Schedule Grid: Replaces uninspired date listings with a beautiful, clean typographic schedule documenting city, country, event name (e.g., Midnight Fire Tour, Live at The Vault), and specific calendar dates.
Status Indicators: Keeps the user base informed via interactive badge changes marking events as active, completed, or “Coming Soon”.
“From The Streets to Your Feed” (Social Hub)
Cross-Channel Aggregator: Rather than standard footer social links, the site leverages a massive full-bleed cobalt blue block that serves as a live social feed wall.
Platform Segmentation: Organizes content into card columns cleanly divided by platform source—including custom layouts optimized for TikTok video loop frames, Facebook image layouts, Instagram carousels, and YouTube thumbnails.
“The Blaze Gang Worldwide” & Gallery
Community Validation Area: Displays user-generated content (UGC) tagging featured fans wearing the clothing line, reinforcing a global community movement.
Luna Gallery: A dark, editorial block titled “Beats & Style” showcasing behind-the-scenes photography, vinyl design process shots, and concert performance stills.
Key Performance & UX Objectives Met
Frictionless Conversion: Merging the artist’s lifestyle feed directly with an easy-to-navigate product lookbook maximizes cross-selling opportunities from casual listeners to active collectors.
High Visual Scannability: Utilizing a stark contrast between pure blue blocks, black gallery spaces, and sharp serif typography effortlessly guides the eye down an extended scrolling experience without user fatigue.
